Grandma and Grandpa Breland

So I just got home from helping my parents move. I feel like I have been hit by a truck. Every part of me hurts! It was really nice to get to spend so much time with them. I am super thankful that they are going to be closer now. We worked 2 days unpacking and they still have TONS left to do. I wish I could have stayed longer but I have to work. I know that Grandpa is relieved that they are here too. He looked so worn out. He will be 91 on his next Birthday and has been taking care of my Grandma for years now. She has Alzhimers. One minute she was happy they were there and the next she was mad at them for moving into their other house...I know that it is the Alzhimers talking but it is still hard not to get a little upset. We just don't like seeing her like this. Its also hard on my Grandpa. He is such a WONDERFUL man. He would give you his last dollar if you needed it. I don't think I have ever heard him raise his voice. I know that when it is his time to go he will have a special place next to our Heavenly Father. I can only wish that I could be half the person he is. I cant even imagine life without him. We would come and stay the summers with them as kids...we always had so much fun. We would help Grandma with her rose bushes, help Grandpa in the garden. Some of my favorite things to do there were peel butter beans and catch Butterflies. We would play in their woods, walk down to Grandma's "thinking tree" and then come inside to have Grandma doctor our masquito bites with fresh aloe vera from her aloe vera plant. She would also have to check our heads for ticks. She taught me how to oil paint and she would make clothes for mine and Melissa's dolls. They would also take us floating on Magee's Creek. That was always a blast. I loved Grandmas homemade pickles and she would make the best banana bread. She would top it with homemade ice cream. I have so many memories of my summers with them...I will have to type more about it some other time.

Most comforting place on Earth!

So it has been a while since the last time I went to the Temple. I am not proud of that. I am excited to be going tonight with Jared and his family. Sean is preparing to leave for his mission. He is going to Lima Peru. Sean is Jared's baby brother. We are all SUPER proud of him and the decision he has made to serve Heavenly Father. We know that he will touch many lives through his service. Brandon is really going to miss him! Sean is his best buddy! Sean serving a mission is good for Brandon to see though. It sets a really good example for him. As well as the missions that his Aunt Jen and Uncle Adam served too.

Mosiah 2:17
"When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."
GOOD LUCK SEAN! We will miss you.
